if they have a well-founded belief that it is safe, meets specifications,
passes appropriate tests, and does not diminish quality of life, diminish privacy

public good.
As described in the introduction, the system that we have developed is to save people who are trapped inside a building during an emergency fire situation. It will provide instructions about what to do and how to exit out of the building safely.
The system is consists of two main versions. A tablet version and a mobile version. The tablet version is given to the party who are responsible in handling emergency situation inside a building. And the mobile version to the normal users. As you can see the system should be highly reliable, it should not provide wrong instruction. Therefore before deploying the system it went through several testing phases. All the technology that we have used, proven to be working in the desired environment.
Even though the system is developed to send instruction to user's mobile phones during stressful situation, it can still cause privacy issues like snooping user locations and send irrelevant instruction and so on. To prevent such issues we have taken special security measures. Therefore it will make sure that it can only be used for public good.
